Who is DJ MPC? Upcoming DJ and tech nerd who lives for bringing people of all cultures together through music. Born and raised in Washington, DC where GO-GO music was birthed, hearing different sounds was a standard. Growing up, she would wake up to the sound of George Clinton and the Funkadelics, Stevie Wonder, and Earth, Wind, & Fire. Commutes to school and daily activities would consist of hearing Janet Jackson, Zap & Roger, Prince, ACDC, and that golden 90's hip-hop and R&B era. Marvin Gaye, Atlantic Star, Queen, Teena Marie, and many more would be the nighttime cap.

"Music is the connective tissue that produces different feelings, emotions, and can sometimes make you remember moments in time. For that reason, I love to discover content that is new to me very often."

She loves traveling the world, when time allows, to hear different sounds and connect to people of different cultures through music.

“I can recall walking into a karaoke bar in Taiwan, and having a hard time ordering a drink or speaking to other patrons because I didn't speak much mandarin. A few minutes later, someone requested PYT ( pretty young thing) by Michael Jackson and the majority of the crowd was singing word for word while dancing! To look around and witness many people of different backgrounds get their WHOLE LIFE is a reason why I'm in love with music. It’s communion yah know?"
